Description
Sasha Luchkov’s connection to the Cowichan Valley was formed when he left Ukraine at the outbreak of war, completed Grade 12 at Shawnigan Lake School, and performed locally to great acclaim. Now a piano performance major at UBC, Sasha continues to astonish his audiences with his progressively brilliant playing. The determination with which he pursues a career as concert pianist is admirable, and audiences enjoy his unfailing good humour and accessible personality.
